Nigerian sports personality and former Big Brother Naija star Ozo Chukwu donned a specially designed agbada for this momentous occasion. This traditional Nigerian attire, crafted by our brand--Trax Apparel, wasn't just any agbada. It was special, and here’s why.
The Making of the NFL-Draft Announcement Agbada
Our creative design team, led by Odiete Mark and Victor Adeyanju, understood the significance of this moment in sports history and worked tirelessly to create a unique design. The design's colours were inspired by the Browns and American Football, while the fabric choice was influenced by the richness and sophistication of the sports and the texture of the ball.
Throughout the design process, the team aimed to stay true to Ozo Chukwu's personal style, as he has always trusted the Trax team to deliver. After several meetings with Ozo, the final design was agreed upon.

The Ozo x NFL Agbada Hand-Painted Design
The agbada was made of a rich brown velvet fabric, symbolizing the sophistication of NFL football. The iconic NFL helmet was outlined by the map of Nigeria, creating a powerful painting that united the two nations through their shared passion for the sport. The agbada retained its cultural significance while incorporating modern details such as the map and helmet design. Additionally, a subtle NFL logo added another layer of celebration.
The Styling of the Ozo x NFL Agbada
While the agbada may be the highlight of the historical outfit, the simple yet classic bishop collared shirt paired with red pants made from aso-oke fabric brought the full look together.
Ozo complemented the agbada with a crisp traditional red cap and a gold-tipped walking stick, channeling the essence of Nigerian royalty. The Trax team styled Ozo Chukwu, and it was a delight to be part of this historical moment from start to finish.
